Iran Frees Three European Nationals in Joint Operation with Oman and Belgium.

Iran has released one Danish and two Austrian citizens after years of imprisonment, with the help of Oman and Belgium. The released individuals were Iranian-Austrian businessmen Kamran Ghaderi and Massud Mossaheb, who were sentenced to 10 years in prison for alleged spying and vague national security offenses, respectively. There is no information on what Iran obtained in return for the releases. Oman often serves as an interlocutor between Iran and the West and brings released captives out of the Islamic Republic.
