Manchester set to host 2027 G20 summit with Trump among attendees

Manchester will host the 2027 G20 leaders’ summit at the Manchester Central Convention Centre on 27–28 November, welcoming world leaders including Donald Trump. Prime Minister Andy Burnham, a former Manchester mayor, said he’s pleased to host and that preparations will ramp up with substantial local involvement. The UK will hold the G20 presidency next year with related events nationwide. The G20 comprises 19 economies plus the EU and African Union, representing about two-thirds of the global population and more than 85% of world wealth; the gathering will be the largest summit ever held in Manchester, following context like security costs from past summits.
