Soho car strike: driver arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after pedestrians hit in central London

A car struck pedestrians on Argyll Street in Soho, central London, in the early hours, injuring three people including a woman in critical condition; the driver, a 29-year-old woman, was arrested at the scene on suspicion of attempted murder, GBH, dangerous driving and drink driving. A 30-year-old woman was taken to hospital in a critical condition and a man sustained life-changing injuries; a third woman had minor injuries. Police are appealing for witnesses and say the incident is not terrorism-related.
