Suspect Charged in Widdecombe Killing as Terror Motive Probed

British prosecutors charged 28-year-old Joshua Kerry with the murder of former UK MP Ann Widdecombe, more than a week after his initial arrest on suspicion of murder and acts of terrorism. Investigators say motive is under scrutiny, including a possible political or terrorist link, and Kerry is due to appear at Westminster Magistrates' Court after being rearrested in custody in South Yorkshire. Widdecombe, 78, a longtime Conservative figure who later appeared on Strictly Come Dancing and Celebrity Big Brother, was attacked July 8 at her Haytor home in southwest England and died the following day.
