Former NFL running back LeShon Johnson was sentenced to five years in federal prison (plus three years of supervised release and a $30,000 fine) after being convicted of running a major dog-fighting operation via Mal Kant Kennels in Oklahoma, which authorities say involved the seizure of 190 dogs and the marketing of fighting-breed stock to other fighters; Johnson had previously pled guilty in 2004.
