Dollywood unveils Dolly Parton tribute with waterfall, stained glass and a Dream Maker
Dollywood revealed plans to honor Dolly Parton by adding a cascading mountainside waterfall outside the Robert F. Thomas Chapel, installing new stained-glass windows with Ecclesiastes 3:1, remodeling the Dolly Parton Experience with a new entry, and introducing a Dream Maker character and Dream Wagon in the Wildwood Grove area in 2027, plus guest-dream kiosks; a memorial remains on site as Parton—described as the park’s Dreamer-in-Chief—died on Aug. 25 at 80.
