Dan Stevens to Star in Amazon's Robocop TV Series
Dan Stevens has been tapped to headline an eight-episode Robocop TV series for Amazon Prime Video, a project developed after MGM’s 2022 acquisition, centering on a powerful robot placed on the police force by a tech conglomerate and imbued with the consciousness of a fallen officer. The series will be written and run by Peter Ocko, with Blumhouse Atomic Monster’s James Wan, Michael Clear, and Rob Hackett among the producers, alongside exec producers Michael Miner and Ed Neumeier and Danielle Bozzone; Amazon MGM Studios will produce. Stevens’ credits include Downton Abbey and Legion, with the Robocop franchise history serving as a backdrop for the new adaptation.
