Video Evidence Links Kent Teen to Fatal Chelan Hills Wildfire
New video footage allegedly shows 18-year-old Michael Yakimov firing illegal fireworks from a moving truck on July 4, 2026, an act prosecutors claim sparked the Chelan Hills Fire. The blaze burned 10,000 acres, killed 69-year-old Robert Lister, and damaged approximately 100 structures. Yakimov faces multiple charges including first-degree manslaughter and arson, while authorities seek warrants for five other individuals involved in the incident.
