"Christopher Nolan's 'Oppenheimer': A Warning for Silicon Valley with a Costly Nuclear Explosion"
Christopher Nolan explains why he cast his eldest daughter, Flora Nolan, in a small role as a "burn victim" in his upcoming film Oppenheimer. Nolan wanted to convey the idea that the ultimate destructive power can also harm those close to you. He clarified that he didn't want to be compared to Michael Powell's controversial casting of his own son in Peeping Tom. Flora previously appeared in Nolan's film Interstellar and is currently a student at New York University Tisch School of Arts.
