Vampire Hunter D Returns with New Comic and Classic English Rebounds
Dark Horse announces a four-issue Fortress of Blood miniseries set in Hideyuki Kikuchi’s Vampire Hunter D universe, alongside an English edition of The Rose Princess (Book 8). GKIDS has North American rights to Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust for a broader theatrical release next year. Fortress of Blood debuts December 16, 2026, and the English Rose Princess edition arrives March 2027, with creator Kikuchi praising the American adaptations.
