Convictions and Sentences Handed Down for Jan. 6 Capitol Breach
Gabriel Augustin Garcia, a member of the Vice City Chapter of the Proud Boys, has been found guilty of obstruction of an official proceeding and interference with law enforcement during the Jan. 6 Capitol riot. Garcia livestreamed his participation on Facebook, boasting about storming the Capitol and verbally confronting law enforcement officers. He was arrested by the FBI on Jan. 19, 2021, and is scheduled for sentencing on March 28, 2024.
