Cold Case Solved: Cincinnati Woman Identified as 1979 Las Vegas Murder Victim
Las Vegas police have identified the remains found in a 1979 cold case as those of Gwenn Marie Story, a 19-year-old Cincinnati woman who went missing over 40 years ago. Through a genealogy search, DNA scientists were able to develop leads and make the identification. Story had left Cincinnati in the summer of 1979 with two male friends, intending to travel to California in search of her biological father. Her friends returned without her, and her family never heard from her again. The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is seeking any information related to the case.
