Papa Charlie's Restaurant at Lutsen Mountains Destroyed by Fire Ahead of Major Event.
A fire broke out at Papa Charlie's restaurant at Lutsen Mountains before 5 a.m. on the same day as the Lutsen 99er Gravel Bike Race, causing massive backups in and around Lutsen. The restaurant housed servers and network equipment, impacting resort communication. Six local volunteer fire departments responded and contained the fire to the Papa Charlie's building.
