Multiple Shootings in Greenwood, South Carolina Result in Fatalities
An inmate, identified as James Carter III, was found dead inside a cell at Greenwood County Detention Center. The inmate was discovered unresponsive by a detention officer, and attempts to save his life were unsuccessful. The coroner has stated that no foul play is suspected, and an autopsy is scheduled for Monday.
