Investigation underway for fatal Route 138 crash in Griswold
A fatal two-vehicle crash occurred on Route 138 in Griswold, Connecticut, leaving one driver dead. The victim was identified as 73-year-old Zenon Zawadzki of Griswold. The driver of a Ford F550 failed to stay in the proper lane and crashed head-on into Zawadzki’s vehicle. The crash is under investigation by the CSP C.A.R.S. Unit. This marks two deadly collisions in eastern Connecticut in about a 24-hour span.
