Christmas Tree Shops, a discount home goods chain with over 50 years of history, is reportedly preparing to file for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. The company, which heavily marketed its slogan "Don't you just love a bargain?", has hired a law firm to prepare for the potential filing. Christmas Tree Shops has 83 locations throughout the eastern United States and was bought by Bed Bath & Beyond in 2003 before being sold to Handhil Holdings LLC in 2020.
