Recalled Heated Blankets Pose Burn, Fire, and Poisoning Hazards
More than 40,000 Sunbeam® Queen Size Heated Blankets have been recalled due to the risk of overheating, which poses a fire and burn hazard. The recalled blankets were sold on Amazon and in small independent stores nationwide from September 2022 through January 2023. The company has received 13 reports of the blankets overheating, but no injuries have been reported. Customers with the recalled blankets should stop using them and contact Star Elite for a full refund.
