Hillsboro Welcomes an Immersive Fantasy Haven at Hidden Worlds
A new fantasy bookstore, Hidden Worlds, opened in Hillsboro’s Orenco Station, offering a two-room, theater-flavored space—the Gothic Library and the Reading Room—with features like live harp music and decor that make readers feel they’re stepping into a story. Founder Hayley Klarich has built the shop through year-long pop-ups and events (including silent book clubs) and envisions a community hub where fans can gather, discuss, and even role-play fantasy worlds. The grand opening drew hundreds, with locals and visiting readers drawn to an experience that blends shopping with immersive storytelling and local author shelves.
