Aaron Carter's cause of death has been revealed as drowning due to effects of difluoroethane and Alprazolam. The musician was found dead in the bathtub of his California home in November 2020. Carter had a history of addiction to huffing and prescription pills, and had gone to rehab multiple times. His ex-fiancée and mother of his son, Melanie Martin, has expressed doubts about the autopsy findings and is still seeking closure.
