DJI has released the SDR Transmission 2, a wireless video system capable of sending 4K 60fps HDR video up to 2.5 miles with 35ms latency. Priced at €349 or £309, the device features a dual-mode design that acts as both a transmitter and receiver. While the system is available in Europe and Asia, it is not sold in the United States due to the FCC Covered List ban on DJI equipment.
Sony has detailed its fourth-generation DWX wireless microphone system, featuring the DWT-B40 bodypack transmitter and DWR-R40Q four-channel receiver. The new system introduces onboard 32-bit float recording to microSD cards, reducing latency to 1.1ms and cutting costs by approximately 30% compared to previous multi-receiver setups. Expected to launch in early 2027, the system maintains backward compatibility with existing DWX hardware while expanding into broader professional AV markets.
