Bryan Kohberger's defense seeks testimony from surviving roommate in Idaho student murder case.
Bethany Funke, the surviving Idaho University roommate who found the bodies of her three housemates, is fighting a court order to testify for quadruple murder suspect Bryan Kohberger's defense at a pre-trial hearing. Funke, who now lives in Nevada, is being subpoenaed to serve as a material witness in the case. Kohberger was charged with four counts of first-degree murder and burglary in late December and is currently being held in a maximum security cell at Latah County Jail in Moscow, Idaho. Funke's attorney is fighting to 'quash' the 'foreign subpoena'.
