"Arrest Made in 2005 Phoenix Airport Baby Murder Case"
Annie Anderson, the mother of "Baby Skylar" who was found dead in a Phoenix airport trash can in 2005, has been arrested in connection with the cold case killing. The infant, wrapped in newspapers and a towel, died by suffocation and was abandoned in a plastic bag in a women's restroom. Anderson, now 51, was arrested in Washington state and is awaiting extradition to Arizona. Genetic genealogy and a composite sketch led to the breakthrough in the case after years of being unsolved.
