Spate of Homicides Plague Birmingham
A 63-year-old man, George Williams Jr., was shot and killed while sitting on the front porch of his home in Birmingham, Alabama. The suspects followed a friend or family member of the victim to the house after an argument and opened fire, hitting Williams. He was pronounced dead on the scene, and no arrests have been made. This is Birmingham's 45th homicide this year, and police are asking for anyone with information to come forward.
