Iran-linked Islamist group claims north London arson attacks as police investigate
An Islamist group with Iran links has claimed responsibility for three north London arson attacks—the Volant Media building (Iran International), four Hatzola ambulances in Golders Green, and a Finchley synagogue. Three people (a 16-year-old and two men, 19 and 21) were arrested. Police say none of the incidents are yet classified as terrorism, but Counter Terrorism Policing is leading the investigations and maintaining an open mind on motives while warning against foreign-influence recruitment.
