Arrests Made in Tragic Shooting of 11-Year-Old Outside Isotopes Park
Two suspects, Jose Romero and Nathen Garley, have been arrested in the fatal shooting of 11-year-old Froylan Villegas outside Isotopes Park in Albuquerque. The shooting was a case of mistaken identity, with the suspects opening fire on a white pickup similar to the one Villegas was in. Romero was taken into custody minutes before a news conference, while Garley was picked up days later with 22 pounds of fentanyl in his car. The suspects are facing federal charges, and police are still searching for the black Dodge Durango SRT believed to be involved in the incident.
