
Capitol Riot Participants Sentenced to Prison
Jeffrey Sabol, a Colorado man involved in the Capitol riot, was sentenced to over five years in prison for his role in dragging a police officer into a mob during the Jan. 6 attack. He ripped a baton from an officer's hands and helped assault the officer with other rioters. Sabol, who expressed "patriotic rage" over the election, was convicted of felony charges and sentenced to five years and three months behind bars. Several other rioters involved in attacking the officers have also been sentenced to prison terms.
