Tragedy Strikes Al Jazeera Journalist as Family is Killed in Gaza Strike
Al Jazeera's Gaza bureau chief, Wael Al Dahdouh, lost his wife, son, daughter, and grandson in what the news organization claims was an Israeli airstrike on Wednesday. The Al Dahdouh family, who had been displaced and sought shelter in the Nuseirat refugee camp, lost 12 members, including 9 children. The Israel Defense Forces confirmed carrying out an airstrike in the area but stated that they were targeting "Hamas terrorist infrastructure."
