DeKalb County Chase Ends in Fatal Crash Tied to Stunt Driving
A Georgia State Patrol pursuit of a white Chrysler 300 suspected of stunt driving in DeKalb County ended when a collision occurred on Mountain Industrial Blvd. and Hugh Howell Rd. A GMC pickup, with 19-year-old Anthony Angeles as a passenger, was involved and Angeles died at the hospital; the pickup’s driver, Emilio DeJesus (20), was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries. A K-9 unit crashing into the GMC during the chase occurred; troopers escaped through a window and the road was cleared around 7 a.m.
