St. Paul's Teen Violence Epidemic: A Look at Recent Tragedies.
Kle Swee, a 17-year-old with a history of violence, has been charged with second-degree murder in the shooting death of Michael Brasel in St. Paul. Swee had previously pleaded guilty to felony aggravated robbery after robbing a student at gunpoint. Prosecutors have filed a petition to have Swee tried as an adult, but it will be up to his attorneys to convince a judge that justice will be served in juvenile court. A hearing on the motion is expected to happen this week.
