A’s rookie Kuroda-Grauer sidelined by ruptured testicle
Athletics rookie infielder Joshua Kuroda-Grauer was placed on the 10-day injured list after emergency surgery for a ruptured testicle, following a foul-ball ricochet in Oakland’s 5-2 win over the Diamondbacks at Chase Field. He went 2-for-3 with his first major-league home run in that game before being replaced, and had eight multi-hit games in 16 MLB appearances since debuting on June 29 vs. the Dodgers. He is resting comfortably and is out for at least the 10-day minimum.
