Lahaina Town Reopens with Dust Screens and Eager Residents
The Hawaiʻi Department of Transportation has started installing dust screens around Lahaina Town following the opening of the Lahaina Bypass to reduce the spread of potentially hazardous materials. The screens will not interfere with recovery efforts in the area and are expected to be fully installed within a month, remaining in place until further notice.
