Covid Crisis Forces Cancellation of Mark Taper Forum and Center Theatre Group Productions in LA.
The 2023-24 theater season at Los Angeles' Mark Taper Forum has been canceled due to the economic crisis caused by the Covid pandemic, according to Center Theatre Group. The pause in programming will include the postponement of the world premiere of Fake It Until You Make It by Larissa FastHorse and the cancelation of the previously announced tour stop of Cambodian Rock Band by Lauren Yee. The organization hopes to utilize the space in "innovative, non-traditional ways through special events and community-centered programs starting as early as the fall."
