
Disney's Chief Diversity Officer Latondra Newton Resigns.
Disney's Chief Diversity Officer, Latondra Newton, is leaving the company after a six-year tenure to pursue other endeavors, including joining another corporate board. Newton led Disney's diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives and was one of three executives who signed a letter pledging to bring about real change after the murder of George Floyd. The company is set to begin a search for a new chief of diversity, inclusion, and equity efforts.
