Violence erupts at Lauridsen Skate Park, leaving woman injured
A woman was shot in the leg after a fight broke out at Lauridsen Skate Park in downtown Des Moines. The victim, who was not involved in the fight, ran for cover when she heard gunfire. Her injuries are not life-threatening. Police recovered shell casings from the scene and are continuing to investigate.
