Bahamas Election Day Alcohol Ban Hits Disney Private Ports for One Day
The Bahamas enacts a one-day ban on onshore alcohol sales on election day (May 12, 8 a.m.–6 p.m. local) at Disney’s private ports Castaway Cay and Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point; onboard alcohol service remains unaffected, and two Disney ships are expected in port that day. Other private Bahamas ports may also be affected as cruise lines comply with local law.
