New photos that appeared to show Ben Affleck arguing with Jennifer Lopez on the red carpet have been proven to be misleading after a clip of the interaction was shared on social media. The clip shows the couple merely trying to work out the logistics of the event. A lip reader also confirmed that Affleck was not arguing with Lopez, but instead asked if she was okay after posing for photos with her. Affleck's facial expressions have previously inspired memes, with his wife even jokingly referring to his "miserable" face on Instagram.
