Wave of Bomb Threats Forces School Closures and Police Presence in Louisiana
Livingston Parish Public Schools in Louisiana closed due to bomb threats received via email. Law enforcement agencies conducted sweeps of each campus and found no viable threat. The school system is working with the Louisiana State Police Fusion Center to investigate the email malware issue. Schools will reopen on Tuesday, and increased police presence will be implemented. Similar threats were also reported in other schools in the capital area.
