Bud Light faces backlash and boycotts over LGBT controversy.
The Saloon, a Minneapolis gay bar, has dropped Bud Light and other Anheuser-Busch beers in response to the company's handling of the Dylan Mulvaney controversy. The bar will now serve beers from local breweries instead. Bud Light faced backlash after sending Mulvaney a custom-made can with her image on it, leading to calls for a boycott from far-right commentators. Anheuser-Busch was subsequently removed from the Human Rights Campaign's "Best Place to Work for LGBTQ+ Equality" list, and Bud Light sales have dropped by 23% in the past month.
