The annual Louisville Pride Festival, celebrating the LGBTQ+ community, will take place on Bardstown Road in the Highlands on September 9. The festival features live entertainment, drag shows, over 150 vendors, food trucks, and a family fun zone. Admission is free, but VIP tickets are available for purchase, offering access to exclusive amenities. The festival will showcase performances from various artists and drag performers, including a special reunion performance by members of the iconic lesbian band Yer Girlfriend. The theme for this year's festival is "There's No Place Like Home," emphasizing the LGBTQ+ community's contribution to Louisville and Kentucky. The Louisville Pride Foundation encourages volunteering and donations to support their initiatives.
