Change Healthcare, a key player in pharmacy benefit management, is working to restore systems after isolating the impacted ones. Maine DHHS has instructed pharmacies to provide a 3-day supply of prescriptions to MaineCare members. UnitedHealth, the parent company of Change Healthcare, discovered the cyber security threat and is addressing the issue. CVS and Walgreens are also affected, with CVS stating they have plans in place to address the interruption.
