Universal Studios has revealed a first look at the upcoming Donkey Kong expansion in its Mario Land theme park in Osaka, Japan. The highlight of the new area is a Donkey Kong-themed coaster featuring a mine cart ride vehicle. The expansion is expected to open in spring 2024, with merchandise including coin-shaped tins and barrels. Universal Studios fans can also look forward to a larger-scale Super Nintendo World in the upcoming Epic Universe park in Orlando, set to open in 2025.
