Butler County man linked to ISIS-inspired plot faces federal court
A 21-year-old Butler County man, Jonathan Kramer, appeared in federal court after authorities say he planned an ISIS-inspired terrorist attack, buying a rifle and ammunition with the intent to attack the public; he was arrested at the Cranberry Park Hotel with a semi-automatic rifle and 190 rounds, and had been on the FBI’s radar since 2023 for child-pornography charges tied to a mass-casualty plot. A preliminary hearing was waived and a future court date has not yet been set.
