
Arson incidents displace families and lead to charges in Lexington.
Melanie Hamblin, a 40-year-old woman, has been charged with first-degree arson and four counts of wanton endangerment after admitting to starting a fire at an apartment complex in Lexington. Two people were trapped inside the building, but one was rescued and taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Three people will be displaced due to fire damage, and the Red Cross will be assisting them.
