Police Pursuit Ends in Crash, Puppies Ejected from Vehicle on I-65; Man in Custody
A police pursuit in Nashville ended in a crash on Interstate 65, resulting in the arrest of 26-year-old Dalton Parks. Parks allegedly fled from officers and struck a patrol vehicle before being pursued onto the highway. After deploying spike strips, Parks crashed into the southbound lanes. During the investigation, a mother dog and five puppies were found, severely malnourished. Parks has been charged with multiple offenses, including aggravated animal cruelty. The puppies are now in the care of Metro Animal Care and Control.
