FBI Agent Acquitted in Shooting Faces New Sexual Assault Charges
FBI agent Eduardo Valdivia, previously acquitted of attempted murder in a 2020 D.C. Metro shooting, has been arrested in Maryland on charges of sexually assaulting two women. Valdivia, who has been suspended by the FBI, faces felony and misdemeanor charges, including two counts of second-degree rape. The FBI is cooperating with the Montgomery County Police Department's investigation, and authorities believe there may be additional victims. Valdivia is currently in custody and awaiting a bond hearing.
