Boyfriend Charged with Murder After Girlfriend's Body Found in Car Trunk
A 19-year-old man, Ariel Cruz, has been arrested and charged with the murder of his 21-year-old girlfriend, Idania Campos, after her body was found in the trunk of her car in the Meyerland area of Houston. Cruz reportedly confessed to the crime, stating that he killed Campos because she had broken up with him in the past. The family had tracked Campos' phone to the location, leading them to discover her car parked on Indigo Street. Investigators believe that Campos was killed elsewhere and then left in her car.
