Miracle on Delta: Baby Born Minutes Before Emergency Landing
A woman delivered a baby mid-flight on Delta Flight 478 from Atlanta to Portland after labor began about 35 minutes in. A doctor and two nurses among the passengers helped flight attendants deliver the baby before landing in Portland; mother and newborn were in stable condition when paramedics arrived.
