Arizona realtor restrained midflight after violent outburst; fired after arrest
A 67-year-old Tucson real estate agent, Layne Lundeen, allegedly attacked a passenger and assaulted crew on an American Airlines flight from Dallas–Fort Worth to Newark, prompting fellow passengers to restrain him with duct tape and zip ties. The plane diverted to Baltimore, Lundeen was arrested upon landing and fired by his Tucson firm, and federal authorities are assessing possible charges.
