Suspect Charged in 2023 Stabbing Death of Teen Michael Garr in Upper Darby
Authorities in Upper Darby, Pennsylvania, have made arrests in two separate homicide cases from last year. Marson Weh, 23, was arrested for the murder of 15-year-old Michael Garr, who was stabbed while walking on Bridge Street. Herman Stigall, 20, was arrested for the killing of 65-year-old Mohammad Rahman, a correctional officer who was shot outside the Upper Darby Islamic Center. Both cases are unrelated, and the suspects are facing legal proceedings, with Weh already sentenced to 9 1/2 years in Ohio for unrelated charges. The Garr family expressed gratitude for the police's efforts in solving the case.
