Vollering tops Beaujolais sprint to take Tour de France Femmes Stage 5
Demi Vollering (FDJ United-SUEZ) out-sprinted Marlen Reusser and Kasia Niewiadoma-Phinney from a late Beaujolais break on Mont Brouilly to win Stage 5 of the Tour de France Femmes, with Reusser retaining the yellow jersey and Vollering closing to 12 seconds behind in the general classification as the battle for the title heats up with four stages to go.
